Digital Ad Operations Specialist


The Digital Ad Operations Specialist will operate as a business partner to the VP of Ad Operations, driving the service delivery organization business plan and objectives. The Digital Ad Operations Specialist is responsible for:

  1. Serving as a subject matter expert in Digital Advertising Operations and Creative Services for clients and onshore and offshore SEBPO teams
  2. Leading the partnership implementation process - gathering client requirements through onsite discovery, creating documentation, building workflow and standard operating procedures, developing custom reporting, providing continuous guidance to clients throughout the partnership launch process and closely monitoring team performance post-launch to ensure achievement of client SLAs and KPIs
  3. Driving customer satisfaction – the successful candidate will be a hands-on, “roll up your sleeves” individual that has a very strong work ethic, is well organized, analytically skilled, a strategic thinker, detail oriented and quality minded
  4. Collaborating with Sales to close prospective clients and identifying growth opportunities in existing partnerships, including additional tasks or duties and boosting team utilization

As a part of the Service Delivery team, the candidate will be involved in all business issues, strategies, planning, and reporting relating to the Advertising Operations organization including delivery plans and processes, client satisfaction, systems, executional-excellence and strategic planning for new products and services.

The ideal candidate will have a flair for data analysis and familiarity with tools and platforms used to interpret and explain complex data in an elegant way.


  • Partner with VP of Ad Operations to implement and execute on the service delivery organization’s objectives for Ad Operations
  • Be a subject matter expert in advanced Ad Operations, keeping up-to-date with industry-relevant news allowing you to predict, foresee and react to prevent campaign issues big and small
  • Play the role of consultant, educator, and liaison—both with clients and onshore and offshore SEBPO teams
  • Provide sales engineering support to the Sales team by being a subject matter expert, creating Proposals/SOWs and assisting with new client implementations
    • Drive process, procedure, and systems scalability and consistency across the advertising operations organization, included but not limited to:
      • New Client Implementation Strategies
      • Resource Planning
      • Training
      • Input into Performance Monitoring (KPIs) and Reporting
  • In addition to the direct responsibilities outlined, assist VP of Ad Operations as needed with other operational tasks, ad hoc requests, and projects


  • Review and amend proposed contracts and agreements and provide coaching to sales, legal and other groups on advertising operations-related requirements
  • Communicate effectively across various organizations within SEBPO
  • Manage daily support requests from the Sales team
  • Participate in appropriate professional organizations
  • Occasional travel for in-person client meetings

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years professional experience and advanced knowledge of advertising operations - specifically the principles of campaign trafficking, ad serving, creative design and development, analytics, programmatic media buying, campaign optimization, SEM, mobile and video
  • Both broad and deep experience creating and implementing new processes, or improving existing processes to drive efficiencies in Ad Operations
